Tax Rate Hearing Set
The Board of Directors of Flamingo Isles Municipal Utility District has set a public hearing on its proposed 2022 tax rate for 11:00 am on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Hitchcock Public Library, 8005 Barry Ave., Hitchcock, Texas.
The Board has proposed a 2022 tax rate of $0.566 per $100 of assessed valuation, which is a $0.007 decrease from the 2021 tax rate. The Board believes that this tax rate is necessary to fund the District’s debt service and operating expenses.
The public is welcome to comment on the proposed tax rate by attending the hearing in person or by sending a comment through the website.
